The Year in Numbers:
- 165,000 students reached through teacher training
- 1,800 students benefitting from new school facilities
- 391 students sponsored through education
- 372 girls received menstrual hygiene materials
- 130 students accessed higher education
- 32 schools participated in global linking and learning
This Annual Review covers activities from September 2023 to August 2024. This year, Together We Learn navigated extraordinary challenges—from armed conflict and economic instability in Ethiopia to structural issues in the education system—while remaining steadfast in our mission.
Despite widespread disruption in the Amhara region, our dedicated Ethiopian team continued delivering essential support and education services.
We expanded our teacher training, reopened our Addis Ababa office, and completed our first major construction project in years. Through it all, we provided students with critical resources and hope for the future.
