Technology is becoming increasingly important in Ethiopian schools. The job market is starting to require applicants to have at least a basic level of computer literacy, but most schools are currently without the necessary technology and teaching experience. To help meet this growing need for computers, Link Ethiopia has organised several shipments of computers to schools in the Gondar region. A huge thanks to Brunel University, who provided us with our largest shipment by donating a massive 50 computers, which we shipped and distributed to a range of schools, from elementary to preparatory level.
These shipments have helped develop teacher and pupil computer literacy and support more general school administration.
