Run for Link Ethiopia in this year’s Royal Parks Half Marathon!

Created in 2008, the Royal Parks Half Marathon is a 13.1 mile long route which passes through London’s most iconic sights, including four Royal Parks (Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St. James Park, and Green Park) and some historic landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, Horse Guards Parade and the Royal Albert Hall. Because it is mostly flat, the race is popular both for first time half-marathoners and seasoned runners wishing to beat their personal best.

Every year, Link Ethiopia assembles a team of mixed runners and keen supporters to raise money for our cause – transforming lives in Ethiopia through education. This year we are aiming to get a team of 20 runnes and still have a few spots available! It takes place on Sunday 14th October, for the past 3 years we have had fantastic weather on the day (fingers crossed!) and we would love for you to join us!

We ask that Link Ethiopia runners aim to raise at least £300 – and rules state you must be 17 years old by the day of the race in order to run. When you sign up, we can send you some resources about Link Ethiopia and will advise you about setting up a page to help your fundraising. You will receive a pack from Royal Parks Half Marathon containing: a race bib with timing chip attached, a technical t-shirt, safety pins, and a race day booklet. Once all our runners are signed up we will send you a Link Ethiopia t-shirt with your name on it to maximise the cheers while you run.

Run for Link Ethiopia and enjoy a fantastic and rewarding day in the capital’s parks while raising money to change lives through education.
